Bellefosse Trial Classic
le 14 juin 2015
The Trial Club du Ban de la Roche with its president Dominique Holfert was inviting again for the nice Trial de Bellefosse, up on the Vogese mountains, Alsace, France. I already attended several times and enjoyed the athmosphere in this little village.
The weather was fine, although not sure, if a rain shower could make it muddy. I arrived Saturday evening and the club served "Flamchueche", kind of a pizza with typical Munster cheese, cream, speck and lots of onions....mhhh plus a fresh beer, or two, then sleeping in the car.
Next morning, the weather was fine, some clouds and maybe a thunderstorm in the afternoon possible. All the zones were in the forrest, mostly dry.
The zones were traced by Mathieu Feidt and Edy Adam. As the trial was only one week after the 2 days of Soultz, not so many riders came. A pitty for the organisator.
10 very nice and tricky zones, most of them possible with zero in my blue
master class. In fact, I had 2 points in the first round, all lost in zone 1.
Round 2 I cleaned all of them. Wow! I was happy, my little Honda TLR thumped
easily above all obstacles.

At the end of the day I had 2,0,2 = 4 points. Jaques Aebi on his green Kawa 250 came back with 6 points. The first time I could beat him. But this is only on top of it. Most important was the great athmosphere, meeting friends and enjoying a day out in the green woods of the Alsace mountains.
In the blue Pre65 Expert, Guy Totems could beat Thierry Violini by 3 points.
Twinshock blue I could win with 4 points ahead of Jaques with 6. Brother Christian had 30 on his Majesty.
The top red was only attacked by Edy Adam in the twinshock class and in the mono Mat won by only 6 points on his new RTL Honda 250. Bravo, extra.
Maybe Mathieu will once ride on the 50cc RTL and win in the blue?? nom no joking, poor little bike.
Thierry Gemas was the boss in the green Master Pre65 on his BSA thumper. And yes, 82 years old chap George Greenland was 3rd !!!
See you next year at Bellefosse
