40th Trial Grimmialp

The Trial Club Schwenden exists more than 40 years and already organised world rounds (see my story 1985) and 2018 am European Cup. A team around Urs Plüss set up a new formula for the traditional 2 day in the Swiss Alps: A classic trial for Saturday 29 August 2019.
I already arrived Friday afternoon to help finalising the zones especially with the precious Pre65 motos in mind. Weather was splendid, with viw on the Bernese Alps, cows and nice smell of gras and nature.

Riding, fotographin, filming, chating and enjoying round 1, I lost only 1 dab in the expert line. Oh, wow, let's attack round 2.

A happy day with friends passed, what a great event in this beautiful scenery. I was happy, which was even topped as I learned, that I was 3rd and on the podium in the Expert Class..
My friend Werni, a far better rider then me als lost 7 marks, but 6 in the last, with a 5er in zone 6, as me, but the rule looked at the better last round.
The Winner was Andi Kindsvogel, Oskar Walter 2nd and me 3rd.
The middle class was won by Florian Dreher (organiser of the Garmisch 2 days) with 10 times Austrian Champ Joe Wallmann 2nd and Jack Aebi on green Kawa 3rd.
Marc Plüss managed a clean card all day on papas Suzuki RL 250.
